2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

The article at BBC about Potter taking the job there reads very very clearly like he refused Everton to take on the Hammers job, just look:

Sources with an understanding of the situation told BBC Sport that Potter had received other offers since leaving Chelsea, but had chosen to join West Ham given the stable ownership and a track record of allowing managers time to build.

Potter also felt the club had a good squad compared to others in the lower end of the Premier League and the job felt like a good fit.

Lopetegui gets sacked for winning 7 in 22 but we keep Dyche with 3 wins in 19. Our new dawn is beginning to look very much like our old dawn. Hopefully TFG have made the decision to sack him and they are only lining up the ducks.

We are basically the only club left that hasn't sacked an under performing manager yet in the league now apart from Spurs. That worries me most.

He turned down Leicester in the summer, West Ham also have better squad than we do.

Emerson, Mavrapanos, Wan Bissacka, Bowen, Soler, Paqueta, Edson Alvarez, Soukec, Summerville, Killman, Todibo, Kudos, Füllkrug to name a few, sounds like a good team with some coaching, and they have invested another 150 millions this season.

Too much of a challenge for him

I think he needs more time to get the team Dyche-fit.

Once true Dyche-fitness is achieved across the squad, it will deliver untold riches and glory.

Leave the balls in the bag, they are no use to us. Get the hard yards up and down the sand dunes in winter with Sean, Woany and Stoney shouting encouragement.

In the distance, Gary Birtles looks down on the whole scene from atop the highest point, he breathes in deeply and then slowly nods knowingly in approval like an ancient, wise sensei. Who needs modern, specific, expert coaching and analytics…

5 managers (now 6) in 10 years begs to differ.
