Tbh based on subsequent events I reckon Dyche would’ve probably had us on track to stay up but nowhere near as comfortably.

We were on 17 points, 1 clear of the zone when he went, and in 5 games subsequently the mark has moved all of one point. That’s how poor the other teams are.

I think in fairness Dyche probably gets us 6 points minimum over the period Moyes has 13, because Spurs and Leicester were simply awful. So we’d be on 23 minimum putting us at least 6 points clear of the mark. Even that would look relatively safe given the lack of quality below.

Obviously all this relates only to relegation- we are obviously far, far better and can aim for a much higher finish under Moyes, that’s beyond debate.
They are terrible, but hundred percent we don’t go 3 up vs spurs with him. And then we bottle whatever lead we had.

We also struggled to beat Leicester with him in charge so I’m not even convinced we would have beaten them either. Most likely drawn. Their defence is appalling but we wouldn’t have played in a way that opens them up.

Six Points minimum?

Absolutely, positively, no chance.

Did you see how awful we were when he was here?

While we can't say we were definitely going down under him, what was definite was we were in huge danger of doing so and the trajectory was clearly going that way.

Luckily it's all a moot point now, so thankful to have competent management/coaching again. And that's what it is - its not a miracle, its just competence, something we've lacked for years.
