Agree, our system is old fashioned and predictable. That is the problem. No plan B he just sticks with what he does and that is percentage football (average 30 odd% possession is just not good enough)

His plan A is putrid

We only can hope, that the 2nd half was actually pretty decent, few very good attacks.

It’s one thing if Doucore starts and he subs early. That would be fine as long as he doesn’t react too late. This is a midweek game after all so some guys may need a bit of rest. I think it would be a mistake to start Doucore and Dom together. That hasn’t worked.
