Because we just about had enough even with the deduction to stay up, we don’t have that reasoning and we can’t afford to go 4/5/6 or more games without winning. Like it or not now is the time to twist or come October we could be too far adrift to recover
The substitutes felt very 'this game is won this is for the fans to give them a clap' type of thing but my god did it backfire. That Doucoure substitution. I just dont get it. I mean its so bad . A sunday lge manager could do that. Hes dreadful.
I'm sick of this clown
The man won us a Merseyside Derby, guaranteeing the clubs PL status and costing the RS the league at Goodison Park in the process.
Some of our fans have incredibly short memories.
The worst part about that is we don’t have the manager or the players to do something like that. And like you said, it backfiredThe substitutes felt very 'this game is won this is for the fans to give them a clap' type of thing but my god did it backfire.
This manager in a nutshell
83 minutes gone - 2 - 0 up, got the game by the googlies and heading for a well earned valuable first win and 3 points.
84th minutes takes off the best player on the pitch (Ndiaye) and replaces him with Doucoure who has been terrible so far this season and completely destroys all of our momentum.
87th minute - 2 - 1
88th minute - takes off Dom who has already scored and is gaining fitness and confidence for Beto who has been mostly terrible in the PL.
92nd minute - 2 - 2
96th minute - 2 - 3.
Couldn't be any more obvious who is to blame for this embarrassment despite him repeating for the 500th time that we had problems before he even took the job. We lost this game because of this clueless tit and he doesn't deserve to be the manager of Everton.
Those subs. What match was he watching. Ive never seen a manager make 3 subs and ruin his team like that. Had we played too much good football for him to take. Brought players on who cant hold or pass the ball. Played straight into their hands. They are 2 down with a few minutes left they are going to go for it. They had fresh legs for what they were trying to do. Our subs werent made to see the game out defensively or to keep on attacking them and keeping the football. Hes got a 6ft 5ins centre half on the bench and the thought never entered his head to bring him on. He left his mates on in mcneil and keane. Of course keanes arse went. Its what he does. His record speaks for itself. 3 goals from the middle of our goal conceded. Dreadful stuff.
This is why I can't understand the argument that Sean Dyche would be a different kind of coach playing a different type of football if only he was given the chance. It's nonsense. This is what he is. It's what he'll always be. Some people are cool with that, why I have no idea, but others have deluded themselves. If we want to win more than 35% of our games we need a different manager. It's obvious what you will get when you have Sean Dyche in charge. His win percentage is pretty consistent as a manager.
