I don't think it is, he's affording to choose. Clubs will have contacted him and he will have turned them down. His reputation from Brighton is still in tact, everyone understands that Chelsea job is insane. Another bad job, e.g. at Everton, would tank it.

Having watched his Chelsea team I think that he was the reason Brighton didn't score many. He certainly isn't getting another bite at a top 6 club.

Would Eddie Howe have been a good shout back instead of Rafael? He learned under Simeone as well during his time off, because defense was a problem in Bournemouth under him.

He hasn’t for all our terrible results, there’s always a mitigating factor, but it’s all him when we do alright.

He could've used up more than a minute of game time just on subs after the first goal. Which would've also given him an opportunity to talk to his players and change system.

Sean Dyche is still the right man for the job. He'll keep us bobbing along until new owners come in and pull the trapdoor lever on him and get a replacement.

Have to disagree.

Mainly due to his ridiculous loyalty to players who shouldn’t be playing, mainly Ashley Young, Michael Keane and to an extent Seamus Coleman.

I don’t want him and his dinosaur attitude and mentality overseeing the integration of new players into this mentally weak squad of footballers he’s been managing for nearly 2 years. .

It’s an odd stat, rather than history

Losing the game is a stick to beat him with, not the actual stat.

It's the managers job to build a winning mentality in the squad and he isn't capable of doing that, his negativity and cowardice rubs off on the players. We have some talented young players in the team that we could build a future around, but Dyche you feel will slowly knock the confidence to play out of them.

The best we've looked in recent years was under Carlo, and his management style is the polar opposite of Dyche. Minimal focus on fitness, all man management and convincing the players that they have the ability to play good football and compete at the right end of the table which builds confidence and a winning mentality in the squad.

If yesterday showed us anything it should be that we do still have some decent players and under another manager we could be a much more dangerous side than we have been under Dyche.

He has a big focus on fitness. A good chunk of his chosen backroom staff at Everton were focused on players being fit and managing recovery post match and in rehab. Definitely wasn't overly arsed about playing pretty football either when the players didn't suit, much more pragmatic often fairly dull.

No criticism though. Best manager we've had in years.
