2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

If the clause is true I'm sure there's something in there preventing this. Having said that, until it's reported somewhere reputable I have a hard time believing this. It makes zero sense that sacking him would increase our commitment to him.
On one hand it feels hard to believe, on the other it feels perfectly Everton to give him a contract that literally incentivises failure.

You've missed the point I think.

People are putting a lot of weight into the fact (rightly or wrongly) that we capitulated and had a horrific 10 minutes after two poor results in the league leaving us with 0 points in the table.

The narrative is overwhelmingly so that we are rubbish, we play rubbish football, we have a rubbish manager and we are in turmoil.

That 86 minutes showed however that we are capable, we are able to play good football and there are positives in this side.
As good as the first 85 was, Bournemouth flattered us in all honesty, I dont think any other team will be as bad as they were in that spell.

well, maybe Ipswich!?

Very desperate, thanks to the mess Lampard left us in.

This is why intellectual contributors such as myself, Neiler, Saint Domingo, Matty1878 et al are calling for calm heads.

Talk of sacking Dyche alone is fanciful from a financial perspective, replacing him with a top manager like Tuchel or Poch is cuckoo land stuff.
Benitez started the mess, Lampard maintained it, Dyche will see it through.

Haven’t you called Matty gullible and ignorant previously?

Better to lose 5 million than spend the final ever season at Goodison near the bottom fighting relegation. Get rid of the snake and lets try and have some enjoyment for once instead of never ending bleeding from the eyes.

Yeah, 5 million or 10 million, it's not a factor in whether or not we sack him.

Love Matty but he’s two more losses away from having a mental breakdown.

People weren't arsed about the money when Doucs slotted to keep us up 18 months ago.
People weren't arsed about the money when we stayed up last season, with two points deductions.
Christ, talk about fickle.
