2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Winning is winning, but if we’re honest we were fortunate yesterday. Otherwise we’d be staring at 1 or 2 points through 6 league games. He’s still moronic with some decision making.

That said, credit for actually making a change at halftime. Maybe an old dog can learn new tricks.

You've truly gone down the rabbit hole to find the lowest bar now. Sounds like a load of theatrical fluff that old Bill would've been proud to promote. When is the 'Remarkable Story in this Club's History' DVD coming out?

His job is to coach and manage the players. The only one who has noticeably improved is the one he said he didn't coach and let him get on with it. Ollie Watkins has praised the individual coaching sessions for his improvements and Onana chose Villa for the same. Dyche has enough talent to not be scraping survival.
All the rest is not relevant and doesn't concern him, by his own admission and self praise. Just because we had two very poor managers before him doesn't mean it is a major achievement to keep Everton in the PL.

For what it's worth I'll wish him well too, but not for any great achievement just because he hasn't failed. Will be glad he's gone though.

This has been the worst period of the club's history. No cash to spend, owners who went AWOL, the football Establishment looking to punish the club for spending its own money when it did have cash to spend, a squad full of bottom 5 players apart from one or two. And you expect Dyche to be getting up the table with dazzling displays of football.

It's a sense of entitlement that fans of no club as terrible as this one is right now has any business demanding.

Be thankful that Dyche is capable of pulling off three relegation avoiding seasons, tip your hat to him, and wish him a likely fond farewell at the end of the season. Anything less than that is being a classless fool.

Made up we won but that first half was atrocious, tactically crap again and we ended the game badly again, while he was still sitting on two possible subs to break the game up. Delighted with the 3 points, but its papering over some Dyche shaped chasms.

The starting midfield with doucs was abysmal, lindstrom didn’t have the best game and was rightly subbed, but he could have put garner/Tim on for Doucs at that point to make things better.

Were miles better defensively with JB back in and Keane out, he improves everyone as much as Keane takes players around him down, yet the manager cannot see this.

more please Seany, greatest manager ever. Thanks.

No not all. I think it’s cute you have jumped in to defend your mate. Also find it tedious you have decided to go around middle fingering my posts while doing this defending. I suppose thats the natural response of someone who cant string a reasoned argument together so crack on and good luck.
You middle fingered my post first. But sure whatever

As always you deal in extremes. I don't demand dazzling displays of football. I want displays of non-crud football. I want the players available to improve under the management like at other clubs, and I want a manager that doesn't blame everything but himself when things go wrong. He is no saviour, he's a bang average, overpaid, relative to his ability, manager. He has had more signings in than out this season but still bemoans it despite not playing the main sale during our best run last season. Just another excuse that you among others seem to have bought into.

I will tip my hat to him as I already stated provided he doesn't fail and leaves, so you know where you can stick your 'classless fool' comment, but as I said, I do not think it as difficult to stay up as you do with this squad which is not bottom five. It is being used as bottom five, and being regularly told it is bottom five by the very man that should be motivating them to do better.

As long as he goes he gets my well wishes, but the thought of him leading us out at BMD is an utter joke, and the fact he thinks he warrants it on his record tells you all you need to know about his level
