Didn't say he would,he should be able to average 1.5 per game. Potter quite rightly will look at the players likely to be at his disposal plus transfer kitty and he'd see straight away that they aren't capable of playing his style of football.

Rodger’s and potter Both better managers for the modern game. I think potter will be a great manager. Bielsa is also a better manager, but not really a long term manager, neither is dyche imo but for different reasons

When considering Graham Potter it is important to consider the hugely effective recruitment set up they had at Brighton which gave him a line of really good inexpensive players to manage, that may not be the same at other clubs.

Although I do think he is a good manager.

Yeah when the team he inherits is set up and has good players he's great.

When the going gets tough and he has to build a side - the guy has no clue.

That would be the concern.

Sean Dyche is used to operating on tight budgets, we have seen that he knows how to engineer results with poor teams.

For the next couple of seasons at least until all the deadwood has left the club and our financial position is not so serious I think he is the right man for this club.

In a couple of years we can then assess how far he has brought us.

a lot of people would label Moyes' everton team as similar style to dyches burnley. Uncultured. We knew as fans that towards the end of his reign here he had us playing some brilliant stuff. I can see the same happening with dyche, give him some time to sort the utter mess that is our squad and he will surprise people.

I get why people think, because we backed Lampard at this time last year, we must not do the same now. But dyche is a proven manager and will get my full backing.

A lot of presumptions on Dyche have already be seen to be false in terms of being too defensive, wouldn't surprise me if he proved the assumptions on him being anti-youth wrong aswell.

….Garner (aged 22) with little experience at this level certainly won him over & he seemed genuinely positive about Patterson (aged 21) before he picked up that final injury. He gave Simms a few opportunities but he looks a long-way short of top level so moved him aside.

I think he’ll give youngsters an opportunity & continue to use them if they show their worth.
