Based on his Burnley sides Dyche gets us 35-36 points this season. I don't know whether that's enough, we'll just have to see. Only plus side is that he probably has better players to work with here even without strengthening this window so he could potentially squeeze a bit more out of this lot.
I think we have to hope that he has a system/plan to get the most out of the current lot and it works and that one of the other teams around us implodes a bit.

I think 36-37 points could keep us safe and I think he can get that with this squad. They've left it very late to sack and replace Lampard that's probably the only thing going against him, I think he can improve what he's got to work with. Hopefully that improvement is enough to grind out survival in the Prem

Why? It's the biggest job he'll ever get. And when we will inevitably get relegated it won't be his fault, so it won't make any harm to his CV. He will also get a decent compo. Dream job.

What do you mean "why" ? Look at the state of us. It will be a relegation on his CV if we go down. "dream job" yeah ok lad.

That to me is part of the delusional nature of our club from Board through to the fans, the assumption that a team languishing in joint bottom place is somehow offering “ the biggest job you’ll ever get” to managers . No doubt we tried the “ biggest job you’ll ever get” line on any number of players , they laughed and went to Southampton or wherever.

100% bang on.

He will get my full support, hes gonna need it.

Nothing at all to be lost by not getting right behind the fella.

Hes joined a club on its arse and he strikes me as the type that will do everything he can.

2 tough games coming up, a true baptism of fire.

100% Evertonians will get behind him, will back him as much as is possible.

He's not stupid either, like he's already mentioned, the team have to start giving something back in order for that support to be a 2 way thing.

Support the manager
Support the team
Sack the board
