My only hope was he'd gone away and worked some things out. He clearly hasn't. The Dyche of the last decade only ends up one place. The only hope was he decided to adapt and he didn't.

That's very blatantly not true. It's still a job in the PL and many would take it if asked. We can't find anyone to ask.
