It's not pretty but it's effective and that is all that's required this season.

He has brought a spirit and resilience to the team which has been sadly lacking for a long time now.

He has given us a fighting chance, whereas before his appointment it was looking very bleak indeed.
Thought we were more than effective 1st half created enough good chances to have gone in 2 or 3 up unfortunately haven't got any subs that can effect the game when we look leggy

It’s the lack of goals that’s the real problem, should have won this by HT.

If we keep missing the chances we put huge pressure on our defence to keep it tight
I would be far more concerned if the team wasn’t creating chances, you only need 1 goal to win a game. Today we had some absolutely magnificent chances to score from our play and have done ever since he’s come in

Imagine how less stressed out we’d all be if we had appointed him before the World Cup. In fact imagine the amount of nonsense that we could’ve cut out had we replaced Carlo with him.

I think since he’s come in we’re the 6th best team in the league. If we do end up going down it’ll certainly not be through the fault of Dyche as manager.

I like the team press. Not perfect but effective enough to cause problems, and we did it 7 games in a row. This is tall order with a squad of players as lazy as ours.
Only problem we have with it is players are getting tired and we have no options on the bench so have to stick it out to the death or bring the likes of Davies or maupay on which either way equates to players legs gone
