He doesn't play with structure. And he doesn't get men forward

What is the point

Any of us could set up a toothless unstructured team

Since Silva we have never had a team that could defend and attack. It was one or the other.

That hasn't changed. What has changed is that we can't attack no matter how much you try now. So what do you do? Defended? You need to win games

Whoever we brought in with this collection of wank, weak, pointless and cowardly footballers would have gone down.

But hurl your anger at Dyche. Not sticking up for him, just telling a truth.
Nobody is saying the board aren’t abysmal, and the disparate collection of players of varying degrees of hopelessness are a waking nightmare, but even notwithstanding those things we’ve been in positions to get enough points on the board under Dyche to be halfway clear of this mess and yet he’s contrived to blow it.

Changing a mildly successful system, playing players out of position at RB in successive games who have both directly contributed to dropped points, while a perfectly capable (shut up @davek ) sits on the bench, putting our hitherto best midfielder out on the wing where he’s once again hopeless, etc.

Awful manager, managing awfully. Quelle surprise.

Most of us on here thought we were down when Dyche arrived so unfair to pin this on him. You can question his decision to bring Keane in and play Godfrey but the attackers are what they are. The worst in the league and Dyche is not the manager to get the best out of already limited players in those positions.

We should have got Bielsa and let him work with the under 21s like he wanted. We all new on February the 1st we was dead. At least then we would of had a base to build on to try and come straight back up.

Should have played Gray for me.

He puts the opposition on the back foot. We had a load of the ball in the first 20 minutes but Newcastle didn’t look under pressure really.

I like McNeil but aside from the fluke goal thought he was pretty anonymous especially in the second half.

The man is a board patsy. He was happy enough to accept the job, when he knew there was no players being signed.

Hopefully he can get us promoted from the championship, but i'd say Dyche will be long gone by the time we get to bonfire night imo.
