After we have gone down, who should we replace Dyche with? Would it have to be a current Championship manager, as no PL or former PL manager will look at us.

Like all managers, he holds the media inquisition in contempt, and forms his answers accordingly.
Like most managers he is a an intellectual pygmy who displays a weak grasp of grammar and a lexicon so small they can barely form a coherent sentence., which means they can only really deal in the simplest of concepts and struggle with understanding abstract thought.
It’s a problem with the country in general to be fair though.

Probably will. But likely not by much. But you know, MASSIVE upgrade on Lampard right
nah didn't say massive. but the general consensus was that this squad are relegation fodder. And people said that Lampard wasn't expected to work miracles. But for those same people now, they think Dyche should be doing better with players they had written off.

Likewise a lot of people said this squad was a midtable squad and that Lampard was underachieving hugely with them, and are now saying “what do you expect Dyche to do lad??”

Genuinely concerned about his comments, especially regarding Keane and the subs bs Leicester. He isn’t changing a thing is he ffs?

Brighton will target Keane, as will every opposition, if dyche keeps picking him.
We just need to get through to the end of the season now, if we stay up then great, if we go down then so be it. Either way I'm less convinced by him as the days go on at the moment. I can't work out if he actually believes some of this stuff he is saying/doing or is just actually trying to blag through as he really just doesn't rate any of the players.

To be fair, I wouldn't expect him to publicly throw Keane (or anyone) under the bus but to go the total opposite and sing his praises after how dire he has been the last few games is just pure ego and stubbornness, likewise his reason for no substitutes excuses. It was obvious to anyone that we needed fresh legs and there were gaps and opportunities to go on and win the game.

It is pointless watching his press conferences as there is no honesty, just excuses, ego and defensiveness. I really worry about our last 4 games with this man in charge. I just don't see how we can win a game with a stubborn Manager who seems to think himself and the team have done better than they actually have. They have all done terrible and they need to own it and do something about it.

If you were to drop into the Championship...why would you get rid of Dyche? seriously why?
In two-and-a-half seasons in the Championship with Burnley, we were promoted twice...the first time against all odds.

Stick with him, he knows what he's doing. Keane was a great player for Burnley under Dyche...maybe he feels like he can bring out the best in him but looks like Keane's confidence is terminally shot.

Anyway all the best, hope you stay up. I think you will

We won't be able to pay either of their wages if we go down, the highest wage in the Championship is about £40k (i think) Also both of those names are joined with Onana, Pickford, and Branthwaite on a 5 man list that has been going about for a few weeks (no idea how realistic it is) of players who will be sold if we go down.

Pickford and Onana I get, Branthwaite would make no sense to sell unless someone offered stupid money as he could be going all the way to the top. Fair point about not being able to afford their wages though, I’ve assumed we can probably gamble keeping one or both for a season and hoping we bounce right back up.

Are we harder to beat though, we're conceding on average at least 2 a game and we're in exactly the same position as when he took over.

He's had a full half season here, that's plenty of time to have got us well clear. He hasn't been helped out in the transfer market though, he has that as mitigation but I'm not having that we shouldn't be higher up. It's his team selections, He is shooting himself in the foot.

With the players we’ve got I think you either park the bus and create zero or accept you’ll concede chances as a trade off for having a goal threat, which we have done in a few games. There’s an element of making mistakes, no question, but he’s working with largely absolute crap and hasn’t brought a single player in.

We will stick with Dyche hoping he takes us straight back up. We will flounder, and when we are lower mid table come January 25th, they will sack him and try to appoint someone by the 30th and then sign no one to help us secure promotion. Everton finish 16th in the championship.
