Yeah Dyche did do it once. With Burnley. Incredible achievement. No manager has taken a smaller club in to European competition through league placing in the Premier League era. In fact, it's a close call for the entire history of European competition. Burnley are one of the smallest to ever achieve it.
I'm judging size of the club by stadium btw. Less than 22,000 get in at Burnley, and I highly doubt their fans spend/pay as much as say a Fulham fan.
Edit: they might actually be the smallest of all time, as I'm judging QPR on the basis they hold 20k, but I'm guessing they held more back in them days.
