2024/25 Sean Dyche

We have been a good outfit several times since then, but define a good outfit.
Not consistently, we haven't. We haven't been properly good for over 35 years. We had good spells, but little more.

For a club that won 9 league titles, we haven't maintained standards. The "magnificent seventh" shows you where we bluewashed our ambitions.

Maybe Trippier back in the day. Struggling to remember who all played in his Burnley sides but a few of them were at the very least hard to score against

Not giving him Branthwaite. Anyone could look good with a player of that quality
Dyche said himself he stayed away from branthwaite and just let him develop on his own. Which is also what Tim pretty much said Dyche is doing with him as well.

First time I've said this, but, get him out now. I was prepared to put up with the turgid, negative, long ball footy, but, the last two games have finished me. I kind of thought that it would be ok letting him see out his contract, in the belief that he would keep us up and that the Friedkin's would let him go when his contract was up. I now feel that if he thinks our best option against Fulham at home and Southampton anywhere is to sit back and let them play...we are in a world of trouble.
Same here.

He had the chance 'change the narrative' or whatever corporate bs he was using last season and threw away a very decent start that could've set the tone for whole season.

Terrible preseason, didn't have them ready for season (again) and here we are.

We're hardest side to watch in PL but was prepared to stick with it if it meant a year of mid table stability.

Had the chance to get out of crisis/survival mode this season and bottled it sticking it with his lower league underdogs playing 2011 Barcelona mindset.

Still worried there's no-one obvious/prepared to take over. Maybe that changes when takeover goes through.

Let's hope so.

It's too late to sack him now. He's had the easiest start of any team and accumulated less than 1 point a game. He's now got to show he can get points against the better teams between now and the end of the year. If we're in the bottom 3 bin him and get a new manager in time for the January transfer window.

This makes no sense. Why throw points away, come January it could truly be “too late”

Its the perfect time to sack him with an international break coming up. The only problem would be that for it to work we`d need to have someone ready to come in early next week and I don`t think we`re that clever to have this done.
