2024/25 Sean Dyche

Still wonder how Carlo made DCL looking like Inzaghi, but we have no number 9 that is good, DCL had chances to be on 4-5 goals already this season, and also should reach double numbers easily, but it's urgent to get rid asap.

Dyche had low scoring numbers all his time, but also it's been an Everton problem since Big Sam, We have gone over 50 goals once in 8 years.

Everybody knew it was our biggest issue going in to last season. Beto, Lindstrom and Ndiaye will weigh in with some, but I still don't see more than 2 players getting 10 goals, or more than 4 or 5 players getting more than 5 goals.

Carlo had Digne, Richarlison, Gylfi, James and Iwobi as 'creative' players.

He never really tbh. I know a few cling onto that. The reality of that season was it was bizare anyway. The stadiums were empty. He only in all honesty scored for 3 months. They dried up after Xmas. And digne was a big factor that season.
He's lived off that 3 months for the past 5 years.

Because he played football that suited him, Dyche doesn’t, we play boot the ball upfield and then see what happens football

Sorry, but I don't agree we have a better eleven than West Ham or Fulham, the rest are equal or lower.

But on the other hand like others said, yesterday was a game we should win and deserved, but maybe our luck was stretched after Fulham and Newcastle. I have low expectations in terms of style still, but results are not good enough this season under Dyche.
Are you saying we deserved to win yesterday?

Are you serious?

Stunned that you can look at their squads, and the quality they have (bar Leicester who I do think we are better than) and say we have a better first 11 🤣. Our first 11 will include Coleman/Young, McNeil/Harrison and Mykolenko (let alone the mess at striker and midfield).

Perhaps take a look at their teams

Yes we do.

He’s such a terrible manager. I honestly don’t see what he offers or ever did.

Tactically i think he’s the worst we’ve had.

Probably on the coaching side too.

The problem with Dyche is, he's a 'play to not lose' manager. It's what he was brought in to do to get us over the line for survival, to scrape out results. To some extent it worked, without points deductions, last season would have seen us close to mid table. This was the season to push on a bit, to show progress. We haven't though, and that's the rub. This squad isn't the greatest, but it's capable of much better than this. Dyche is holding this squad back, and needs to go ASAP.

The players must hate his tactics and approach. Imagine being Ndiaye or Lindstrom, watching the ball being hoofed forwards again and again. Imagine being Branthwaite, one of the best centre backs in the country and being benched. Full backs who get a nose bleed if they get near the half way line. The only change in formation ever implemented is putting a centre back up front as a second striker. It’s embarrassing.

Horrendous manager, cannot wait to see the back of him and his long ball up to Keane tactic, it's actually embarrassing being linked to that type of football, it's as agricultural as you can get. I didn't watch yesterday,

I feel for the people who pay good money to see that. I've not been to a match for a few years now with my health being turd and I am not bothered while they're playing this way.

He's not the right man for the job, he's not even matching his own standards from last season, we're going alarmingly backwards, most of us did not envisage a relegation battle this year and Dyche seems to have killed off any type of optimism already.

He's losing too many and isn't aware that football is about scoring goals, first and foremost for me.

I seriously do think so, we lost the possession battle as usually but football is about creating chances and we surely created more than them.

But as I said we got lucky against Newcastle and Fulham that we deserved to lose. It weighs it out.

Perfectly encapsulated.
