Well, yes, it's one of them. But you still need players who can take their chances.
Maybe if Dom was good enough he'd score more? He's scored 17 in his last 77 prem games. It's appalling. Sick of excuses for him now(not that you're making any per se).
He's turned in to an 8 goal a season striker and that's part of the reason we've been struggling for a while. We've brought in other options - Beto, Chermiti and Broja, but the jury remains out on them. I'm hoping one of them takes the shirt sooner or later.
I'd be genuinely shocked if the midfield got more than 30 goals between them this season. Somebody pointed out the other day that we've only scored more than 50 goals once in the last 8 seasons ( at least i think that's what they said) I don't see us getting over 50 this season either, don't care who the manager is.
On Dom, I think the post-match press conference kinda summed up how useless Dyche is.
He spoke about increasing the numbers of crosses and long balls after Beto came on for Dom, seemingly thinking this is the best way to score with him playing, but also not realising he doesn't understand that's the best way to score when Dom is on the pitch.
