2024/25 Sean Dyche

Even if we scrape some form of lucky win, I’m telling you now, it will be through god awful football and West Ham completely bottling it.

Suggesting it’s tarks that should come out instead of Keane and playing them in different positions. You really are a poor man’s wum.
Keane has out performed Tarkowski.
Tarkowski meant to be our leader and he puts in a challenge like he did vs saints. He could have been sent off, idiot.

If Dyche brings in Jared, mark my words it will be for Tarkowski or at least should be.

I don't think he doesn't trust his own abilities, he probably thinks he's the bee's knees - the problem is he has a hilarious lack of said abilities and is as limited as they come, while being afraid of change/adapting.

I know a lot of people think this is a criticism for the football on show and to an extent - it is. A lot is thrown around like "Mourinho/Simeone/etc. also play defensively and win", but it's just flat out not true - they've adapted a lot to football down the years, they've changed their approach when they have needed to, they've played differently with the same players as they just prepare for more than 1 outcome, and so on, which Dyche at this rate won't do likely ever. It's like in any line of work - if you don't adapt to the new technologies/approaches/etc. you'll forever be the person who doesn't know how email attachments work.
That's exactly it... A severely over-inflated ego telling him that his tactics are brilliant, and makes him stubborn to accept change, but actually, it's just deluding him and making him blind to the real problem, which is: He's PETRIFIED of actual change!

Yeah, he's not changing anytime soon...

As soon as the takeover happens he'll be sacked.

There's no chance TFG will have start off their reign surrounded with uncertainty and a manager whose contract is expiring at the end of the season.

He might make it to Christmas and oversee another god awful run of form, but I've got no doubt he won't be in charge come January 2025.
Agree. There’s an article in the athletic this morning saying they’re aiming for early December for completion. Sack Dyche on day 1, give a new manager a month to work with a new DoF to agree on targets for January.

That's less than 4 weeks from now, mate! Fingers crossed you're right, and it happens before Xmas.

I think December would be a poisoned chalice for any new Manager due to how difficult the games are, so that's where TFG (if the takeover were completed early December) might say to Dyche "go on then, show us what your capable of", and when he inevitably fails they then bring someone in start of Jan.

It's a matter of when though, not if, Dyche gets canned. I think we're talking weeks rather than months.

The right choice is to drop Tarkowski issue he doing that he has to make two decsion. Change Keanes position and swap Jared and Tarkowski.

Dyche knows how the players are in training and makes decsion sometimes we don't see. Due to what he sees on training.

He will get a win on Saturday and the boo boys won't have anything to say

Dan and the apple of his eye, his lad Ryan, have probably already made their decision.

It depends on who they appoint, mate... If it's a good appointment, hopefully we'll get the 'new manager bounce' which will carry us through to January.

Wonder if there is any concerns on season tickets for next season with Dyche still in charge. In my mind should be top of the agenda.

I know this is unpopular and even more so coming from me  but we can see out the season with him provided he stops the WUMming. December/mid-season is a poisoned chalice for most managers in general, and I doubt the man TFG want will be available instantly anyway (or maybe he might want to finish his season if it's the 'standard' length, but then again Amorim is swapping 1/3 of a season in so...)

I know Dychefans will also say "oh but he got us safe" - lads, we can be safe earlier than the last 2 games in May, I promise. If we'd taken some of the games we threw away we'd be sitting comfortably in midtable currently, but Dyche only knows squeaky bum time so he's leading us for another spirited late April push, as this is how he operates.

He will regret this lost opportunity when it's gone. This squad is better than he cares to admit.

So what you’re saying is if Dyche gets a win on sat all the boo boys will be silent?

Mark my words the new manager thread and the relegation thread will be in overdrive sat 5pm, we all now exactly what is going to happen

It's like being in an abusive relationship. Dyche has convinced us that he's the best we're going to get, and we don't deserve better! 🤦‍♂️

(*Another @Jimishorts GIF special ;)).

He won't regret it, mate. He'll just convince himself that he's better than us.

….he hardly played Keane last season. Even when a CB was missing he selected Godfrey. This is about his judgement.
He didn’t, he played Godfrey at Right back,
Maybe on a couple of occasions he played 3 at the back with Godfrey and Keane,
When Branthwaite was out. Burnley away was one, can’t remember another
