Because he was brought in to keep us up, not for the future and despite keeping us up, there were continuous poor records being broken such as 13 games without a win as an example. The forthcoming season was going to be the last ever at Goodison and every effort should have been made to give it a fitting farewell. That was never going to happen keeping Dyche on. All you would get is a season of boredom and frustration with plenty of poor runs, the odd good win from a big name and then hopefully enough draws and points to not relegated.
That is fine for THE very badly ran club but it is definitely not fine for the joy starved supporters who have had years of descending into nothingness. That is why i cannot wait for the takeover to be complete. Everything about Everton sucks until that happens.
