2024/25 Sean Dyche

Don't forget though mate; Wolves have got some dead easy fixtures that they're definitely gonna win loads of, and Real Madripswich beat Spurs the other week so they're defo gonna charge up the table now they've managed to actually win one game.
Kinell mate, set the bar any lower and it will be buried ffs.

Why does other teams being turbo gash stop Dyches Everton from being slightly less turbo gash?!

Pointing out that someone is wrong for saying Luton are a much better side than us is no the same as saying that’s the bar we should be celebrating being over.
There were games where they looked a lot better than us, playing on the front foot and having a go. I imagine people were annoyed by our turgid displays playing for draws and that factored into the opinion.

Can’t have been many, they got 26 points.

Football is about keeping it out one end and scoring at the other. ‘Playing on the front foot and having a go’ is no measurement of being better or football quality if you’re losing almost every game, it becomes completely irrelevant. They conceded more than two goals a game. There’s no credit whatsoever praising a team for attacking if they’ve left the door wide open at the back, anyone could do it.

Good teams playing good football find a balance, Luton didn’t find any, hence why they got 26 points.

Pretty sure the shouts of Luton play better than us came before they ran out of steam so I don't think the final league table is a fair criticism.

As for 'playing on the front foot and having a go not being a measurement of being better or football quality' it is a measurement of something fans want to see in their team which again, is when the shouts came.

Say your goodbyes to Dyche. TFG aren't spunking a billion to watch his brand of football.

Not at the cost of conceding two goals a game and finishing on 26 points and getting relegated it isn’t.

Football is a two way game.

I think with Dyche the question really is;

“Can a different manager get more out of this squad of players than he can?”

That could be through selection, tactics or just general man management, and it’s not dependent on Dyche actually being any good or not

If your answer to that question is “Yes” then I think Dyche has to go in that case

Again, it’s not to say that Dyche is a bad manager, but merely one who can’t do any more with this group of players

Harsh, but that’s the game and he’ll get paid handsomely if it’s time to go

One win ( v Wolves) seems to have got Dyche off the hook. Lets not forget how woeful we have been this season. Standards have fallen so low it beggars belief…
Listened to the echo pod, god knows why their standards are on the floor too. They’re still going on about Bournemouth. Bournemouth is the new Fulham, remember the first game of last season and how we should have won that game, supporters of dyche were still bringing the Fulham game up 6 months later

How many of the teams currently above us do you think we are equal to or better than?
