2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Here’s a question. How many managers in this league is the 3 time Premier league manager of the month Sean Dyche better than?

This is what £5m a year gets us?

What. A. Manager.

Yeah, why? I asked somebody how many teams above us are we better than or equal to.

All I've had so far is a reply about how our fixtures are so tough compared to others around us.

Its not a lie though is it.
Wolves have played all of the current top 5.
Everton have played 0 of the current top 5.
Probability says we'll not pick up a lot of points in those matches given our record against 4 of them is abysmal and that other thing that we're generally crap and cant score.
its quite simple to follow.

Wolves and Ipswich are gonna pick up about 6-9 points each, max, between now and March. Terrified lads.
Maybe so, not guaranteed, but does this excuse dyche for the results and performances we’ve had this far this season?

We are back into hoping and praying there are three worse teams than us just to accommodate the negative, totally out of his depth manager we have, instead of aspiring and expecting more and better.

Why couldn’t we have done what Forest are doing this season, and be comfortable instead of looking over our shoulder constantly, especially with the fixtures we’ve had?

But we've beaten 4 of the current top 5 at home, under Dyche. If you want to write them all off as no points though, then you're entitled to your opinion. There's a small fortune to be made if you're right. The Arsenal-Chelsea double is 0.96/1 with Hills for a start...

Now I'm not suggesting we beat 4 of them at home this season, but I'm certainly not writing them all off, and also, in some ways, the Goodison derby is now a free hit, though it might not feel like that by the time it rolls around, granted.

They are absolutely crap value odds though, and they are that for a reason.

Not really mate, no, we've under-performed, but I'm still of the opinion that he was closer to deserving the boot before the Palace game than he is now, as we speak. That's not to say I'm cutting him loads of slack though. I demanded nothing other than a win in the last game if he 'wanted' my continued support.

Close to doubling your money on the first 2 of a run of fixtures you're convinced we'll get nothing from is not to be sniffed at...

It’s less than evens for TWO fixtures, it’s appalling value. It would mean Arsenal should be about 1/5 for Saturday’s game. They’ve been mainly underwhelming this season and we’ll no doubt have loads of people including our own manager telling us we can’t possibly expect to leave our own half at any point in the game.
