2024/25 Sean Dyche

Think it feels different with Carsley. He has been away from the club for a long time and gone and done his badges away from the club and made a name for himself elsewhere. (Even though not within club football).

Baines is still at the club and been doing his coaching badges etc at the club. Like Ferguson did etc. Coleman also been doing his badges while at the club. For me, they need to go away and make a name for themselves elsewhere before any consideration for the top job.
Agreed, getting your drivers licence doesn't mean it's a good idea to get on the road in a ferrari on day one. Yes it's possible, no it isn't advised.
Going and serving as a support coach or sub assistant manager to get a feel for the nuts and bolts day to day grind of lower level football is the best learning journey. It's about that interpersonal intelligence of being able to read and communicate with very different characters and getting them to buy into the vision the side and manager are pursuing.

To many big name footballers don't serve their apprenticeship and get thrown into the deep end with extra media intrusion and it seemingly always goes badly very quick.

Wow, how is there no media pressure or talk about this clown getting sacked ?? Madness
There’s certainly been some recent media narrative on how Dyche is doing. Unfortunately, it has been too really round him at a time when new owners take the reins. It is amazing how it’s not being called out by “experts” though. The players we have are better than what is being produced. It only takes a bit of thought to see that, in the main, players have regressed under him. When you look at our forwards/attacking midfielders, he has completely nullified them. The narrative needs to be called out, and thrown out.

Yanks are impressed by decorations hence rumours that Everton will have a knight of the realm at the helm. It would go down well in the States. Greetings Sir Gareth, is this the worst team you have ever managed? In the Lords, would you agitate for capital punishment for certain Everton players?

Interestingly, take a look at what Cleverley is doing at Watford. 50% win record this season (won 13 of 26) after overseeing the last 9 games of last season and only losing 2. Previous manager won 13 in 48.

Listened to an interview with him where he mentioned baines as being on the same coaching course as him and going to see managers at work at their clubs (mentioned kompany). He spoke really well and clearly has a love for what he is doing. Just very positive attitude and approach and the players are responding to it.

Not suggesting him but if you get the right fit, it can work.

Hi guys, just a few quick questions.
How do you think new attacking players will improve the side and it’s results if they don’t have premier league experience, therefore making them unavailable for selection?
Will these new players suddenly release the manager’s 12 year old shackles and force him to try something different?
Will these new players be fit enough when they first arrive and not need at least 4 weeks and a few u21 games before they can even sit next to Jake and Nathan on the bench in February?
Thanks for your thoughts.

Good lord that chart looks really bad. Forest was an abysmal performance. Ive never heard the Gladwys St so quiet. He’s sucked all enthusiam out of the game. Depends who is advising the Friedkins. But unfortunately I think they will go for Southgate.

That’s the thing mate, Goodison is soulless because Dyche has sucked the life out of the place, there is no togetherness amongst fans, atmosphere is bad, sad times for the Old lady in our final season there.
