2024/25 Sean Dyche

Bad and unbalanced as this group of players are they should still comfortably be mid table .

This should have been a joyous season where we say goodbye to the old lady but instead Dyche has sucked all the life and joy out of supporting Everton.

I suppose if we get to BMD as a PL club it will be worth it , but I'm far from sure that Dyche is capable of even that anymore.

I've been anti-Dyche from the start, I admit that I'm not totally objective, I can't stand the man. However, prior to this season, and even as this season was beginning, I thought he would keep us up. I no longer think that. The losses and, more importantly, the nature of those losses have convinced me that he's a totally busted flush. We should cut our losses now but we know we'll wait until the next international break when we're really in the mire before we do anything. Even then I doubt we'll have someone lined up and we'll leave someone like Baines in charge for multiple games as we sink further into misery.

It's a bit again the Lampard situation, a loss vs Southampton/Bournemouth followed by 2-3 very important games against teams around your level or table position and you keep waiting. It's a risk, back then we lost almost all.

The form is no guarantee but a big indicator that it could go the wrong way and not end with 4-6 points.

I hope he is not in charge for the October fixture list. The longer these numpties leave it, the more damage will be done. But that is what they have always done. Maximum carnage and then react when its too late.

I’m amazed how someone who by their own admission washed his hands of Everton in 2019, doesn’t watch us on TV or fire stick is so vocal about something that means nothing to him, just weird behaviour
