2024/25 Sean Dyche

Just back from Leicester.

Awful, awful subs once again in my opinion.

Harrison is literally eye AIDS and done absolutely nothing when he came on.

And taking off Ndiaye for another holding mid and sticking Doucs at 10 was just mental. Totally lost our shape and invited pressure once Ndiaye went off as he was scaring them to death up to that point.

Away end were not happy and made their feeling felt.

Lucky to hold on for a point with their pressure at the end, but we deserved it.
Absolutely fantastic support yet again from the travelling Evertonians. (particularly given results so far) Came across loud and clear on the comentary. You should all be proud. 👏 👏

away end aimed at dyche i gather mate?

Might be the 5 games won in 26 efforts. He cannot get the team to be consistent. He is a spurt of a few wins then reverts to type. History will tell you that.
Yes, I accept that. But however he gets us safe is not that important to me. As long as he does it. That's his job: 17th or better.

Or Dyche could repeat what he did at Burnley and continue to circle the drain, using the same tactics until eventually gets you relegated.

Unfortunately Dave, the data points to Dyche relegating a team more
No. Our squad is quality-wise 12th to 17th. Burnley were consistently being saved despite their lack of quality unto it caught up with them one season.

He beat Liverpool so that was worth 40.5 points.

Leave him alone.

Don't get me wrong, a win vs a rival is nice, but it's the overall that worries.

We drew City with Frank it's a nice achievement, but lost vs Southampton, Bournemouth and Leicester, who were involved with us in the relegation battle and some of them got relegated at the end of the season.

It's we got to set the priority, that's winning those 6 pointers or at least draw, and we got 1 point out of Bmouth and Leicester. Maybe I don't understand the club enough, because I grew up 1000 miles away.

We haven't won a premier league game for 4 months mate. The 11th May to be exact. 5 PL wins in total since December 2023 and we are nearly in October 2024. Just let that sink in for a minute and then ask yourself do you really think another manager would do worse. There is no way is this team that bad. It is absolutely shocking and literally any decent Manager would do better. I would say be careful what you don't wish for is more the case.
18 wins in 61 games since Dyche took charge.

That's a win every 3.4 games.

I expect us to get back on track in therms of wn average and that'll be enough to save us by a fe points as long as - as per today - we get a few fighting draws too.

2 things, once happy Dyche is gone.

2nd I hope the day will come where we have better subbing options than Harrison, Doucoure, Beto for the offense...

That's appalling for every manager, this in combination with Dyche as a manager must frustrate anyone. Still I expect more closing out the game.

Hope at least Broja will be an option, and Chermiti show what he showed before his injury...

At the moment, we need to hope McNeil together with Ndiaye and Lindström stay fit. They look like footballers in combination

Now that he’s successfully thrown away another start to a season, that average with a few draws sprinkled in would see us just above 30 points...It’s not good enough

You say that like its good mate but its absolutely abysmal. 64 goals scored and 92 conceded and a run of 15 without a win and currently on a run of 5 without a win. Benitez won 5 out of 19 with 24 goals scored and 34 conceded and was sacked for being so crap and there is very little difference between them, that is how bad Dyche is.

I am honestly baffled how anyone can still support this goon. He would already be sacked in any other club. Have we been manipulated so bad that this is the level of acceptance now. Not for me and it shouldn't be for any blue either.

Love the optimism Dave.

I have a feeling that average will blow out this season the longer he stays in charge.
