2024/25 Sean Dyche

Deserves some credit for whatever was mentioned at HT as the improvement was significant.

(No, this does not mean I'm happy with the rest of the long, long, long list of issues.)
This is true.

The first time I can remember him turning a Premier League match in our favour.

Though I think Lindstrom deserves some credit for waving his personal white flag just before halftime and forcing Dyche’s hand.

Wind and piss we've had for about 6 weeks.

I think Sir Sean's been unlucky that that the Branthers injury and the mental weakness of some of his players has robbed him and us of a mid table start to the season.

Still, the next few weeks might still see us reaching there.

Ah I dont know it’s been a bit of fun mate, full metal Lord of the Flies.

Pleasing thing for me is for periods in the game today we were really purring and playing some lovely stuff, it’s been in all of our games if you care to see it. Illy and Dwight really opening up and causing damage. We’ve a few screws to tighten, whose best on the right…..Dom seems to struggle with players who can create ball at feet for us, he’s always behind the play that isn’t a long ball, or a cross - he’s not great with anticipation or ball at feet. Also think you can hurt us just in front of the back four - don’t think he’s sure on who his best midfield pair is.

Branthwaite is a huge enabler brought calmness today and is huge at covering for the full backs, hugely important on crosses and set pieces and calmness in game management. Also think Garner bring back is going to be a big +.

15th we need to start looking up.

I believe the best scenario is to allow him to see the season through and ensure we remain in the Premier League. Bringing in a new manager mid-season could lead to another rushed decision, likely resulting in an ill-considered appointment. This would not align with the new ownership and leadership structure we are trying to establish from top to bottom. It gives the new owners time. While this approach might involve some short-term pain, it promises long-term gain.
