I surely haven't read this correcly and if I'm wrong about this I apologise.

So not only were Everton wrong in the first place to take the full amount from supporters, they now wanna only pay it back in 3 stages, with the last payment in June.
For something they can't supply, that's a nice bit of interest Everton have earned from their own sometimes financially struggling supporters.

The Peoples Club.
To be fair, no-one has any idea how this whole scenario will pan out, don't think the club could really do right for doing wrong!!

I've been paying for this season since January, well before Corona virus ruined it

Making snide digs at another club when your lot couldn’t furlough a load of minimum wage staff quick enough is a bit weird mate.

It's not a sly dig at all, it's a fact that Everton have taken money from sometimes financially struggling supporters, just like its a fact that the little runt Levy tried to furlough staff.

It's really not hard to admit the truth, even when unfortunately it's your own club in the firing line.

Hello Dario.
As shown on pages 1 and 2 in this thread, there was a few different and better options Everton could have taken for supporters, many of whom will have lost their jobs during these difficult/hard times.

im pretty sure that Sunderland don't look down on you any more.

You really need to focus more on your own cesspit of a club.

Spiralling debts, loans upon loans, not paying staff, getting the taxpayers to bail you out.

Horrid stuff.

But then, you come on here and try and bad mouth a club that has done more for its community this week then your club has done in its entire nothingness existence.

I KARNT EVEN

Quite happy with the process personally,I have been kept well informed throughout, received my refund no problems for the last five games of last season, and "hope" to get to some games this season with the ballot process, looks like anyone who doesn't fancy these games(being the new normal!!) can opt out and will still be refunded, and I shall also be receiving a refund on this season for games I will not be allowed to attend in full, suck it and see sort of season, this is all new ground for everyone, but Everton and EITC I think throughout this whole awful pandemic have acted with the very best of intentions to all supporters and the wider community.

So instead of replying about Everton taking money from supporters hard earned, you then not only be aggressive but you then start deflecting by talking about a club taking out loans (which Everton have also done,) and then accuse me of bad mouthing your club.
No, it's not bad mouthing your club, it's stating a fact that they have taken money from supporters, are earning interest from the money of sometimes struggling, jobless supporters and you deflect from that. Not nice!
What happened to The People's Club who support socialist left wing views like many of Everton's supporters?
They are behaving more like the Tory Party.

P.S. You also obviously know nothing about the stuff Spurs have for years (and still do) for the local community.

If this paid for our 3 new signings then I don't think anyone will care even if they don't refund the money!

Ballots (if fans are allowed in) of S/T holders will be interesting to say the least. What criteria will be used?
Don't envy the club in deciding, they won't please everybody.

Certainly do and price accordingly. See the difference in hospitality etc.
They don’t have category games anymore. Got rid of them at the start of last season.

Really doesn’t seem like a big deal, they’re keeping how much money? 20mm pounds in aggregate? (35k season tickets times 600quid per ticket, I made these numbers up BTW). None of which they get to keep long term if it’s not earned, so it’s just a matter of how much that money is worth over less than a year... at single digit interest rates, you’re talking less than a million pounds of saved debt interest cost for EFC.

It’s probably easier logistically to do it this way than have to refund everyone now and have people pay again for the ballot.
