Yeah, he was 94 yesterday and been going to Goodison for 86 years. Yesterday he told me he still has a few ambitions, one of which is to go to the new ground.

At least he's had a life time of seeing trophies. If I'm alive at 90 and still having to watch Everton, I'll wonder why God/My family hates me.

Yes, we all long for that again.

He also saw us play in the then division II in the early 50s and was too young (but alive!) to remember the 1929 relegation season. He also saw Dixie Dean play and of course most of the Everton greats.
