Season ticket refunds

I think you will be kissing goodbye to the money you sold on Stub Hub tbh
Have you checked their website for any statement on refunds ?
You mean they'll want the money returned in exchange for the tickets coming back?
The people who bought them will surely claim back from Stub Hub. They're the ones out of pocket.

I'm more than happy to donate what's remaining of my ticket revenue to EITC.
My one reservation is that I've sold and had the money from Stub Hub for the RS and Leicester games. Should I be confident that the club would know this and take the revenue for the other three only?
It begs the question also, what happens to the tickets I sold to Stub Hub?

Hmmm my cousin sold his derby ticket and was told the money would be paid AFTER the game.

Good on Everton for doing this, and giving you the opportunity to give money back to the EITC if they want which i think many may do, has any other team actually done this yet even if there may have been reports of it happening
Yes City , Brighton and Norwich will probably just donate mine to eitc as they have helped my nephew out . My brothers a RS he had an email a while back outlining a credit for next season if no more games played as they had suspended his season ticket renewal

According to their T&C’s, Stubhub will debit the money back from you from the same payment method you have on file with them which was used to credit you
So I'll give them back the money I've received from them, so they can give to the people who bought the things. I hope they'll refund the administration charges.

Some people have already received payment for the derby game. They say it’s 10 days after the game but majority of the time I’ve had payment made to me before the match
Money for my ticket for the Derby was in my account almost immediately. The purchaser undoubtedly got the ticket in his paws and sold it on to someone, probably an RS who in turn sold it to another RS for an inflated fee. It's going to get very messy.

They'll have a job on their hands. I use my PayPal account only for tickets. The account is almost zero, as I used what was in there towards next seasons ticket. Like I've said elsewhere it's going to cause issues.

The buyer wouldn’t have received the ticket from StubHub as they can only be picked up from the Goodison box office on the day of the game. StubHub will have to reimburse the buyer regardless of whether they get the money back from you. StubHub will try and get the money back from you either by charging the amount to the card / bank account which they sent the money to you, or they will contact you to arrange for you to pay the money back another way.

Yep, and I wonder how many people have been on their StubHub account and removed all links to their payment accounts....? *taps nose* lol

I'll have to take your word for what you say.
I honestly thought that if you were local once you bought it you could physically go and pick it up prior to the day of the game.

LFC will have to follow suit.

Imagine them fans, all dressed up in their kit and hideous cosplay crap staring at their season tickets through floods of tears, in this THEIR year that they deserve after 30 years, and watch their refunds pop up on their accounts.

If it wasn't for the tragedy of the situation, the mass loss of life, the world economies collapsing, it would be funny.

You can have a refund, credit, or donate some/all to EITC. Good shouts all round. Hopefully be more news on people who have already renewed too.

Hopefully you'll be able to gift aid any full or partial refunds you choose to pass on to EITC, otherwise I'd likely take the refund meaning to donate directly, and then forget all about it !

They wont give anything back they never do as they have a different way of selling tickets then we do.

What they might do is give you credit off next season, as they do that anyway when you cant go to a game. They just put your ticket for sale and take that off next season, its why Anfield tickets are easier to get then they want you to think, on a match day you can walk up to the box office and buy them but most are snapped by touts.

I have no idea how they run their business, don't give a toss. It was the meaning behind it, and ironic (seeming as irony is a subject today as far as they are concerned) :)

Re Stubhub sales

From the OS

Match ticket purchasers for fixtures that may be affected will receive a refund in full. Fans who have purchased tickets via Club partner, StubHub, will not need to do anything, refunds will be processed automatically.

In this eventuality, any Season Ticket Members who have sold their seat via the ticket resale platform and have already received payment will be contacted by StubHub directly to provide guidance on how to return this money
