Season Ticket Waiting List

I've been on the waiting list since May 2020, anyone else on it longer than that? hoping to get me and my lad a season ticket at the new ground? anyone thing that won't happen?

As long as the club facilitates STHs selling as many tickets as they cba going out in the cold and rain for, whilst guaranteeing their seats for the more attractive fixtures that list will never go down much.

I do agree its an attractive feature of having a ST being able to resale. Especially as Goodison, with a ST you also get a decent view. Pay as you go its nearly always obstructed, but through resale you can pick up a decent seat.
Maybe all this will not be as important at BMD as all the seats will be great views and I think a bit easier to get a 'pay as you go' ticket?
We had about 400 hand backs last year if my memory serves me well. Im sure there were some people getting tickets after 3 years. I think it will very much depend on if you want a single or multiple seats together. I just want one little blue seat anywhere in the ground, please Everton please 🙏 🤣
The waitlist is a mystery of course, all this daft Tier 1 and 2 business. I dont know why they will not tell you your place on the list once a year, it makes you think its corrupt as others have said!!

surely the extensive waiting list was factored into the new ground capacity?
It was definitely used in the planning stages as justification for the development. 20,000 rings a bell. But out of the 20k no idea how many are Tier 1, and then out of theb ier 1 how many would actually take a ST if offered? All finger in air stuff.
I would love to know my chances for BMD because it would make a decision on hospitality tickets (along with 3 year commitment) an easier decision.

Certainly is zero transparency in terms of seeing your status
There must be a way we can raise this through a fan forum. The lack of transparency is not good, especially as some people join the EFC membership specifically for the tier 1 waitlist. I imagine this is one reason they dont want you to know your place. If you find out you are number 20000k on the tier 1 list little point renewing membership for a chance of a ST.

One last point, i promise, this time last year they were already sending out info about season ticket renewals. I wonder if they will wait till the last minute for next seasons renewals as there is still not full certainty if next season will be a full one in Goodison or not. Doesn't make much difference to those on the waitlist of course....

It's an attractive feature but unfortunately it facilitates people holding season tickets, without any intention of going to every match, being funded to hold guaranteed tickets by those of us who use the resale site, many of whom are on the waiting list and would go to every match barring those they couldn't get time off work for or attend for personal reasons.

The number of tickets on the resale site for many matches this season suggests there's a hell of a lot of STHs who don't attend all/most matches - you often see the same pairs come up.

Unfortunately they've got us over a barrel if we want LG because unless you want a letterbox view from the back of the stand then the only pairs with good views are on the resale site.

I feel your pain brother!
