Season Tickets 2016/17- Nothing Will Be The Same

Just a little heads up really. Just tried sorting my dad's season ticket renewal out for him on the website. When it went through to the 'My Basket' bit, it had added an 'Ad Hoc Fee' of £6.45 for no obvious reason. I rang the box-office and the (very helpful) girl reckoned it was possibly a glitch on the system to do with the semifinal tickets going on sale today and the fact that they are adding £6.45 to cover semifinal tickets being posted out via recorded delivery. Either way she dealt with it but anyone else renewing their season tickets today should keep an eye out for this

what date do season ticket holders have until to renew?
I'm thinking of getting one this year and that's the day a lot of great seats may become available from those that don't!

The Early Bird window for Season Ticket sales will open on Monday, 21 March at 8am and will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, 25 May. The Guarantee Your Seat Deadline for existing Season Ticket holders will be Tuesday, 3 May.

My daughter doesn't want a season ticket yet, she's only 8 so I'll be getting one after they are released.

How did you get around this?

I've just had to sign up for the travel club for Palace (free coaches, can't knock it), and had to pay over 100% extra for it! Tried contacting the club to no avail, wouldn't mind getting my £6.45 back to be honest, few pints that is!

Anything like this, were there's a website glitch, the box office are usually sound and will put it right straight away. If you've been over-charged call them or email them and explain the problem, they'll probably refund you straightaway

Everton set to smash season ticket sale record - but say it's nothing to do with Roberto Martinez' sacking
10% more supporters have already secured season tickets compared to the previous record

Roberto Martinez
Everton are on target to smash their record for season ticket sales in 2016/17 - but say there is no link with the timing of a sales surge and the departure of manager Roberto Martinez!

Over 27,500 supporters have already secured their 2016/17 season tickets, 2,500 (10%) up on 2014/15, which in itself was a record-breaking year.

And with a week still to go before the Early Bird window shuts next Wednesday, the club is expecting record sales.

There has been a significant sales lift since the final match of the season, when a team of young guns led by caretaker boss David Unsworth ended a disappointing campaign on a high.

But club officials have pointed out that sales were already ahead of last season’s figure before Martinez’s sacking - and cite a bold new pricing stricture, the Farhad Moshiri factor and the prospect of new signings arriving in the summer.

Sales include over 3,500 new season ticket holders wanting to take advantage of a new pricing structure for the forthcoming campaign, which includes price reductions across the stadium and the introduction of new age bands.

Adult seats for 2016/17 are now available from only £420, a move that represents a ‘free game’ when compared to 2015/16 prices – and means that on average across the stadium, a season ticket bought during the Early Bird window for the 2016/17 season is cheaper than a decade ago.

Season tickets for young Evertonians in junior and infant schools and aged 11 and under remain at £95 – just £5 per game – and are available in any stand.

The club has also lifted the upper age limit for young Blues from 16 to 18-years-old and prices for those young fans are currently £149 throughout the stadium, less than £8 per game.

Fans aged between 18 and 22, at university or college, on apprenticeships or in their first jobs, or trying to find work can buy a ‘Young Adult’ Season Ticket fixed at £299 across all stands, which replaces this season’s price of up to £382, and costs young adult Blues fans less than £16 per game.

Since the Early Bird window opened in March, the club has sold over 6,500 Season Tickets to under-22s - 1,000 more than this time last year and means that one in four Season Ticket seats will be occupied by a young person during 2016/17.

Prices are also reduced in the senior category with a season ticket in any stand atGoodison Park reduced to £299, representing a saving of between £29 and £83 for more than the 3,000 fans in this age group.

Bet there's loads who have lost there seat due to waiting for Bobby to be sacked.

We were able to swap to really good park end seats.

Reckon we will hit 30k sales.

Little sympathy for them to be honest if they knew they'd be able to afford it, but were waiting for him to be sacked. It's even more naive of them to lose their seat when we've got Moshiri. Martinez was never going to keep his job.

Going by those figures above around 5000 haven't renewed yet, if we have a good summer then 30k might be within reach.

They're still in time for the Early Bird offer - deadline Wednesday 25 May.

On Saturday 21 May between 9am and 4pm, fans will be able to see which seats are available and try them out for next season. Some of the best seats in the house will be marked with blue stickers, indicating that they are available and can be purchased immediately.

Sales are quite a bit ahead of last season - the Liverpool Echo reported last year on 5th June that season ticket sales then were just under 27,000.
