Season Tickets 2024/2025

I think like for like regardless of how long you have had your season ticket for is the easiest, maybe not the fairest. Unless season ticket holders can confirm they have made a request to move to a different seat or different side of the ground which couldn't be accomdated at GP. For example, why should someone who has had a season ticket in the Gwladys for 10 years have a better shout for a seat in the east or west stand than someone who has had one in the Goodison Road for 5 years?
So, would that still apply if a person has sat in the Main Stand for this year alone and a person who has had a ticket for what is now decades?

What about two years, or three? Where would the cut-off be? While it may not be perfect, the longevity of being a ST holder in general will be the easiest.

They will get the first option, and in most cases I suspect many will choose like-for-like. I've had a ST for decades in the LGS, and I'll be going like-for-like.

The first problem with giving preference to someone due to longevity of season ticket is that, apparently, the club's records have been wiped and only go back 20 years. There are some people who have been season ticket holders since the 60"s or earlier. They'd only have the same shout as someone who has had one since 2005. That doesn't sound fair to me.

The other problem is that it discriminates against younger fans. If you are 20 and an absolute fanatic and go home and away, why should you be at a disadvantage to choosing a seat to someone just because the person sat next to you happens to be older?

For me, it just makes it easier to just leave aside how long you've been a season ticket holder and just do like for like and accommodate people who currently don't sit together who would like to, if possible.
