So, would that still apply if a person has sat in the Main Stand for this year alone and a person who has had a ticket for what is now decades?I think like for like regardless of how long you have had your season ticket for is the easiest, maybe not the fairest. Unless season ticket holders can confirm they have made a request to move to a different seat or different side of the ground which couldn't be accomdated at GP. For example, why should someone who has had a season ticket in the Gwladys for 10 years have a better shout for a seat in the east or west stand than someone who has had one in the Goodison Road for 5 years?
What about two years, or three? Where would the cut-off be? While it may not be perfect, the longevity of being a ST holder in general will be the easiest.
They will get the first option, and in most cases I suspect many will choose like-for-like. I've had a ST for decades in the LGS, and I'll be going like-for-like.
