Mine and friends didn't work we were both Android.

Did any android users work ? I know apple one did
From all accounts, it was a bit of a mixed bag with the Android - worked for some, didn't for others. The issue seems to be the expiring passes.

Hopefully, the club will bring out some clarification before the next game to ensure it doesn't happen again. Don't worry, they've only got over a month.

Yeah I was straight in, which meant I had to sit there for ages waiting for KO, next time I'll be back to 5 mins before the start
After an almost 3hr trek along M62 (who would have thought people out on a Saturday trying to get to N Wales and Lakes!) I wasn't taking any chances and went in at 1330. I'd already had a couple of beers in The Brick so settled down with a pie and a coffee.

I got to the ground just on 3 o'clock not one queue or anybody waiting at all.
Usually there is throngs of people everywhere but just walked straight in, stunned.

That said the bar 5 minutes b4 half time ran out of draught beer so I got charged £17.60 for 4 cans of particularly hot carling, I think they had some numpty in the back warmiing them up with a hair dryer

We flew in early doors, no probs with the plassy cards. Seemed no issues for most with the Digi tickets, and absolutley zero covid pass checks on us or any near us.

Usual first day shenanigans inside the ground.

Top balc top escalator knackered.

New starters learning how to use the tills so took eons to get served.

Almost riots at half time due to the bars running out of all food - few idiots kicking off and abusing the staff, who soon got short shrift from most of us in the queues.

Thank Christ they never ran out of ale, and we scored the equaliser handy.

Twas ever thus with Everton.

You had a better chance of resolving the crisis in the Middle East and making peace between Israel and Palestine than you did of getting a pint in the LG.

We went down before half-time to get beers and by the time we got to the front of the queue they'd stopped serving; that was after we'd kicked off again.

Unreal.

It shouldn't be so difficult should it, but the club is just so bad at organising itself.

They know how many fans should be attending?

They also knew that most would be getting into the ground early due to the covid checks etc, and the demand would be much higher for food and drink inside - get it sorted, supply and demand, business basics etc.

They will blame the ground but it is a load of rot - just poor planning/ management.

Had the same experience mate, why they don’t spend the 30 mins after kick off just pouring as many pints as they can is beyond me. Club is a joke when it comes to stuff like this.

While frustrating, I ultimately only missed out on a pint, so it wasn't the end of the world. But what about people getting food for children? A nightmare.

To an extent, I can appreciate that the staff in the kiosks may be rusty, if not entirely new, because of the long absence between the last major game.

There may have been staff shortages due to COVID etc., but as you've both said it's still not acceptable as it ended up a fiasco and to their detriment financially.

One of the major positives I'm looking forward to at BMD are larger bars or food outlets with more variety and quality alongside smaller queues.

Are we supposed to get s link for each game to download into our Google pay wallet? If so I haven't got one.

I'd have thought the wallet pass would be the season ticket, but 1) it still says Everton Vs Southampton on the information and 2) I couldn't get in Vs Southampton using it and had to get a steward to let me in

Mine was in my expired passes on android.

Fan services told me to reload digital ticket to my android wallet, just repeat the process in the initial email on 12th August

This worked perfectly for me, hopefully helps others
