Ref supports Altrincham so a possibility that he despises Utd & everything that they stand for ?
He hasn't been without criticism this season though
Leeds boss Steve Evans claimed Premier League referee Anthony Taylor should be demoted to under-nines football following his controversial decision in United's 2-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
The visitors were trailing by two goals but looked to have given themselves a chance of snatching something from the Sky Bet Championship game when Liam Cooper turned the ball home following substitute Alex Mowatt's 78th-minute free-kick.
However, Taylor ruled it out despite blowing for Mowatt's free-kick to be taken, as he deemed Wednesday had not completed a substitution - Fernando Forestieri had not left the pitch - and after consulting his linesman ordered the set-piece to be retaken.
that was in January, then 2 weeks later Hiddink was also critical claiming a West Brom player shouldve been sent off
then in March Martinez accused him of not understanding the game after he sent off Mirallas v West Ham, he was also accused of missing a hand ball in the home match v Swansea in January.
2016 hasn't been the best so far for him so it beggars belief that he's been given such a big game.
Pulis also questioned his appointment for a game in November.
