Turned on the telly last night and watched the Ure Inter Milan pre season friendly. Channel 286 for the free preview untill September 9th then will be home on Channel 406 right below 407 Gol TV. Now we get the opportunity of the lunchtime matchups again most first choice picks of the Prem and Rugby. I believe some SPL with Celtic and Rangers to. After September 9th it will cost $15.00 a month as a ala carte item.

Great news I think they showed over 10 Everton games last season. So I'm licking my chops.

Sunnavabitch!!! I need satellite! I am locked in to cable though, unless I do some shady [Poor language removed] to get around my (federally)illegal lease.

i dont have satellite or cable. i have an internet connection and if some criminal decides to encode and broadcast his setanta channel through the web then i might accidentally find it.

Dylan for $14.95 a month you could just do this.(y)

Be very careful about this. ITVN were purchased very recently by a Canadian company about which very little is known, and there are concerns about the viability and longevity of the service. May be better to just subscribe to Setanta Broadband initially, on a month to month basis, and see what shakes out with ITVN - at least you get to see the games, even if you need a magnifying glass to make out any detail :dodgy: .

That's the option I'm stuck with at present, as it seems we've lost all but one Sunday game per week in Canada on cable or satellite, barring any last minute deals between Setanta and a Canadian carrier.

(Just Google ITVN for more information on the takeover and concerns - there are some good discussion forums.)

They had a replay of Everton vs. Liverpool '01 on last night.

Ahhh the good ole days:

Campbell
Big Dunc
Pistone
Gemmell
Xavier (now plying his trade for LA Galaxy)
Unsworth

For TX Bill and other Big Fans across the pond. I hope this helps to schedule some quality footie time in front of the telly from Fox Soccer Channel. One in August two in September.(y) Scroll down a bit.

Also it seems now that only the Sat 18th August at Reading and Sat 1st September at Bolton may be only ones not televised in August & September. Even the Man utd game on the 15th of September should be on MUTV. So life is good.
