Tbf saw this on where he plays currently, doesn't mean Martinez sees him there though.

Well spotted. Martinez seems very happy with the signing and weve been after him for a few months.

Good we kept it under the radar, practically had him signed up before the media caught on...similar to Mori which isnt easy in this day and age.

Signs for United next season.

Everton new boy Shani Tarashaj says that Wayne Rooney played a big part in him deciding to join the Blues.

Roberto Martinez snapped up the 20-year-old Swiss Under-21 international for £3million earlier this month but he was immediately loaned back to his previous club Grasshoppers of Zurich for the remainder of the current campaign.

After penning a four-and-a-half year contract at Goodison, Tarashaj, who has netted eight goals in 18 games so far this season, has declared that former teenage sensation Rooney helped shape his decision to join the club.

Rooney made his first team debut for Everton when still just 16 in 2002 and spent two years in the Blues side before his controversial switch to Manchester United after the 2004 European Championship finals.

“It's a big club, it's a huge opportunity for me,” Tarashaj told Swiss newspaper Blick.

“He [Wayne Rooney] started out his career there [at Everton] - it's a win-win situation for me.

“It's very important that I can help the team, and also continue my development.”
