One thing I'm loving about Koeman is his brutal efficiency with fringe players. If they're just plainly not good enough, they're getting binned. And if there isn't room for them to get enough minutes now, but he can see their value, they're getting a good loan move. I'm hoping Tarashaj falls into the latter camp, like Galloway.

Under Martinez we were told everyone was great and under Moyes we were never really told anything, and players would linger around the place to the point where you didn't know if they just had injuries or a poor attitude.

Koeman doesn't seem too keen on most of Roberto's signings. Barry and Lukaku aside.

Like any new manager surely? There are some players he rates and some he doesn't.

Plus we never knew who Roberto actually rated (apple of his eye Cleverley aside), as he tried to tell us how sensational Niasse was when even he clearly knew he was utterly diabolical.

Something to note is that Frankfurt finished 3rd from bottom of the league last year. They won their first game this season, but I don't know how strong they are as a side. On the plus side, hopefully it means he'll play regularly, but they might be at the wrong end of the table.

Thought he looked alright preseasn in the limited minutes he had, a season on loan wont hurt him and gives more time to way up weather he has a future with us or not. Not like he has been totally binned like some others koeman told to find other clubs

This is the most important part. Previously we've just let players linger around and the ones that weren't good enough got crappy loans ... i mean look at the ones barkley got, there would have been 1 or 2 prem teams which could have taken him on instead of sheff wed, surely?

Galloway's the first one i can remember getting a loan to another prem team from us.

Bet we are regretting letting him go now

Kone and Lukaku the only senior out and our strikers. Once again more poor decisions

My initial thought this morning after reading he was off on loan was we have a striker ready to sign. Guess not

Koeman has effectively said he doesn't feel this guy is good enough at the moment

So whilst Niasse is still here he's allowed Tarasahj to go out on loan? Puzzled
