Very good away performance again that. Had a feeling we were going to win it, the build up was so patient it just felt like it was almost inevitable. What a run we have had over this period, fantastic. And the players who have come in, and I openly have said aren't good enough, have been game changers. Davies best player on the park today, sigurdsson is working hard and showing the quality we know he has. Bernard came on and was fantastic. Iwobi is making that right side his own. Really encouraging but we still need players back asap.

I'd got comp tickets off David platt so was in the villa stand opposite the holt end, went bonkers when we pulled it back to 6-1, , went turbo nuts when we got back to 6-2, villains took it in good spirits as we were singing about winning 6-7.
Villa fans above us, got drinks poured and spat at from above,

Just as I was about to type "Come on! Wake up Blues! This is the worst side in BPL with 2 draws out of 14 games! if you can't beat them what else is there to say!", and there it is - a nice piece of combination, that looked quite easy and you wonder: why they have to wait 80 minutes to do this?
But I was among those who were desperate for any type of win, so thank you, Everton, for this important result!

Hope this win will break the self-imposed curse of losing the games that is considered to be straight 3 points for others.

It wasn't. It's the legs that collide inside the box, not where Egan puts his foot down.

It's about 12 inches inside the box.

Check it again. It's clearly inside the box. Your mistake is not looking for the point of contact.

Hopefully that clears it up for you...

I went for mina man of the match, think him and keane have been like kings in chess protected by their two rooks in godfrey and holgate the last 4 games.

Bernard was heavily influential when he came on too which was great to see. Not really getting all the davies love in that one though. Didnt really create anything and was hooked off for gomes. If someone could please explain why he has all the votes for motm I'm all ears.
