It was the type of game I expected tonight. I've seen us lose this type of game plenty of times. Fortunately, we came out on the winning side today and it's a massive win.

That’s the kind of scrappy win a good team grinds out against strugglers. What baffled me about the Gomes incident is that, even if the VAR adjudged it to not be a pen, then how was it not at least a free kick as it was a foul either way on Gomes

The ref didnt have any guts to stop play and waited for VAR, unfortunately it cant give free kicks, only penalties and red cards...

When you see the angle from the opposite side in motion, you can clearly see the movement from the impact of knees. Its inexplicable how VAR didn't give that.

He was desperately looking for it and deserved nothing. There was no way he was trying to get past that defender. That cheating behaviour is endemic. Gomez should have been booked for the dive.
