You make it sound like "the club" had nothing to do with these "parameters" it must now operate within.

Had the club been accountable for its mismanagement - and removed the Chairman (for Life) - then it would have found many more fans "getting behind the lads and having some belief". In the absence of that, we'll just have to get behind the lads - and leave it at that.
