I am first to criticise players for not trying. Doucoure has come on twice this season and in my opinion sold two goals by ‘crapping out’ of tackles.

To me, I would have Dele back and play him over Doucoure everyday of the week. The times I saw him play for us was usually from the bench, not starting, and two things which jump out at me are him blocking a defender for DCL’s goal against Palace and him chasing a lost ball down the wing against Leicester and finding a cross for Richy to get the late equaliser.

I think if everyone laid off him and just let him play he could be good for us. But I dont think he will ever play for us again now as yet again the deal to get him was a typical Everton deal, I.e, a disgrace.
