knee jerk reactions going on again I see,he's nowhere near getting sacked, nor does he deserve to be. playing fairly poorly, but there's enough in that squad to pull it around,a bit of a break is whats needed.we got beat through individual errors today, you can't blame RM for that.
Always thought this site was quite balanced and well educated in football, teams go through good patches and bad patches.it really is the first bad patch this club has had in many years, and here we are throwing toys out the pram.settle down will you, plenty to play for yet.

The problem is, Martinez is a victim of his own "success" we're expecting so much now and rightly so, yes we have endured worse than this but we never set our own bar so high in the past.

who do we have lined up then in Jan? Pulis? There was one season under Moyes where we were bottom at Xmas and we gave him time to pull it round. We should do the same here. Far too early to panic.

Anyone. Seriously.

Duncan as caretaker. Anyone who can let the lads play tempo driven football and not stick to a dead philosophy.

So because people don't agree with you its not balanced

I honestly don't think he was to blame today, tried to mix it up, tried to do some new things, made his changes early.

Ha Ha Ha.

12th and 'he's very close to being sacked'.

I swear to God you lot who think that must be posting from Ashworth.

Settle down bedwetters, Martinez is here to stay.

You're wrong. It's a business; Martinez is an underperforming employee and the consequences of him underperforming are dire.

He'll be sacked if this carries on, and very soon too. Everton are bigger than the manager.

Not really knee jerk when it's been a complete half season of this and no sign of it turning around. It's not like we've been getting smashed by good teams either.

Ive tried to avoid commenting on the five million or so BAWK threads in this section but feel the club now need to take action. the amount of goals we are conceding is the main problem as i see it. Tony Pulis teams dont concede many goals. that is all.

No point in sacking him unless we are in serious danger of being relegated. The league is a right off this season but I still believe him Martinez for the future.
