That was a great gig. Always packed out. The bar was on the top floor. Only members and the band were allowed in.Spent many a liquid stay behind there - usually with half of W Derby police station. Eddy O'Leary, Jimmy Cullen, John Couglan, Mike Dorrington are names that stick in the mind

It's was just about in the middle. It closed a long time ago; not sure if it has been demolished. 'CI' stands for Catholic Institute.…I walk through Sandfield Park most days, whereabout is that?

Yeah, I think that's it. Transit van parked at the front. Gear loaded in up the steps and through to the stage at the other end.….yep, I think this is the old CI & it is still there. I walked past it a few hours ago;
