since he told spartak he wanted to go they made him train with the reserve / youth also they might do what efc are meant to be doing with heitinga
Dunno but he signed a four and a half year deal in August 2010.
But Heitinga's contract runs out in the Summer. According to Wikipedia McGeady signed a 4.5 year deal in August 2010, so the earliest his contract would run out would be 2015.

He's got that unpredictability about him, he likes to take people on, he might not beat his man everytime but he'll keep on trying and that may make the difference, eliminate players out of the game in the final third to open up space for others when attacking
Paying good wages to a player who could be crap is a downside.

By all accounts we'll just take over his deal on the short term and it'll be like a 6 month trial for him to earn a new deal in the summer, so what have we got to lose really?!

Don't think he'll be as effective in the premiership but he's a body, with pace and threat, which will help in the 2nd half of the season if true.
How would they get him on a free now? Just the club agreeing so they get rid...or it means he comes in the summer?
Like with Deulo..when we get a chance to break he will take us from defending to the edge of their box in no time.
