A lad in work is Dann's best mate.

Hes a big red like but i was told he was DESPERATE to get back into the premier league.

Hed deffo join us if he got the chance i reckon.

He may well have been taking his nephew for a trial, by the way. Could just be a coincidence that he's at Finch Farm during the time we're linked with him.

i'm just presuming some journo saw this and thought of it as an opportunity to pretend it's transfer gossip and has actual evidence.

so daily fail linking us with sergio canales, this kid was meant to be the next spanish superstar when he joined real madrid... what happened to him ? would love to get him in on loan.

He's 22, still has that class about him. For the right price, he'd be well worth the punt if available.

Probably off the back of one Spanish journo on twitter a few days ago, not the most concrete of links.

Sergio Canales, the one time golden boy of Spanish football, is looking for a loan move to England with Everton among those clubs interested.
The 22-year-old Valencia midfielder was hot property as a teenager at Racing Santander when he was courted by European giants such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid.
He took the decision to stay in Spain and joined Madrid to a huge fanfare.
He was loaned out to Valencia in 2011 but his career stalled after two cruciate injuries. He did, however, make a permanent move to the Mestalla.
Now he is fit and looking to get his career back on track. Real Sociedad are keen to keep him in La Liga but he is interested in the Premier League.
Everton will be wary on taking risks though. They are awaiting further tests on Lacina Traore's hamstring injury before ratifying his loan move from Monaco.

If Traore deal goes tits up im sure we will ram Michy deal through.

Arsenal apparently looking at Feyenoord trio Bruno Martins Indi, Jordy Clasie, and Jeaun-Paul Boëtius. Three great players, and if they become available I hope we're on the alert. We've been linked with Martins Indi before, but tbh I can't see us bringing in a defender in the near future. Clasie would be class (haha) in our midfield. He's exactly the type of creative defensive midfielder we need imo. As for Boëtius, he's a pacey winger with bags of technique and a decent shot. Only 19, and has a huge potential.

Boetius only 19...need more experienced players....

Would be amazing if we could get them, probably cost us upwards of 20 mil though.

With United likely to get Mata, Kagawa would be further down the pecking order. Seems like the kind of player we could do with.

Anyone still rate him or do you reckon he's just not cut out for the premiership.
