Gets him games in the competitive English enviroment. I think after that, he could step up a to the championship with a team for a month or two for the experiance. It is better than stagnating in the reserves.

I agree. I doubt there are too many question marks about his ability, I mean we signed him after all. This is probably just to help him aclimatise to English football. I doubt Moyes wants a repeat of the Kroldrup affair :)

He's only here for a year isnt he? And now he's off on loan, Moyes cant be took keen on him.

Probably loaned out to test his competitive credentials. If he makes the step up with a couple of loans then watch the 5 year deal coming his way from the Everton offices.

Agree with Gaz on this.

He must have shown promise in practise since he got here to get the 1-year deal. But what he lacks is the combatitive spirit for english type of football, many great footballer does and have to leave and they blossom in other leagues. By giving him much needed combative matches week in week out in a lower league he gets to know the game. After a few months a loan to a championship team to see if he can flourish there and afterwards back to our first team. If this succeed.. a longer term contract will be presented.. if it doesn't work out.. we won't have to pay his wages.

It's a win-win situation.

Its good news for lad, beats kicking your heels in the 2nd string and not learning much about the english game, as most of you say its all about getting him used to english conditions and the pace of the game.

Those Barnsley birds are rough as [Poor language removed].

The voice of experience :D

On topic, its good for anderson to get some match time, I thought he looked great in pre-season but with neville and carsley and hopefully fernandes all occupying the centre mid roles, it was only logical to send anderson out on loan.
