If you read the link i put on the thread it even said that we signed him when we qualified for europe, purely for his europian experiance ........

We are in europe this year aren't we and surely three centre mids isnt enough to be fighting on four fronts this year, and i know we've got players who can fill in but surely if we've aspirations of at least having three good cup runs and being competative in the prem then surely we need all the bodies we can get ?

I get the feeling its only a 1 month acclimatising kind of deal. Get him used to the english game. so he'll be back for the qualifying stages of UEFA.

From experience of last season the reserve team play very infrequently, so as Zero said I suspect this is to get him some game time in English football as he would probably be twiddling his thumbs otherwise.
