Silva must go

You are arguing like a juvenile too. I'm afraid you are not equipped to deal with the big boys. Now run to mummy.

As for the stats, yes, I've every right to be dismissive. They're not comparative stats as the teams could come from the lower leagues and you are not comparing data on a like for like basis.

How old are you lad? What grown man uses the term mummy?

I don't think we should always wait until the abyss, when things are catastrophic.

Do that, and there's a short window of opportunity to replace the manager.

It's short term thinking, he's either the right man, or he isn't. If Brands thinks he isn't then he should bring in a replacement when he can, doesnt matter if we've won or lost the previous 3-5 games on the spin.
Yes that moment of need people differ on and while the DoF does give continuity I wouldn't like this to become a revolving door situation but Silva's position is close to untenable

Could still qualify for Europe and win two cups this season. It’s not yet the same as the Koeman situation.

It's pretty similar. Koeman was still in the league cup and actually into the 4th round when sacked. He had also played some actual football teams unlike this season.

It's like deja vu if you ask me. The football is virtually the same dross.

as you mentioned before .. at most other premier clubs he would have been gone straight after that millwall debacle ..

the fact he wasn't points to brands being a ditherer … also suggested in the way he conducts his transfer business

I think Moshiri will pull the plug , as every bad result reflects badly on him, it will get too embarrassing , more results like saturday and Moshiri will be forced to end it, as its public knowledge it was HIS pick of mamaner

Koeman was taking us down and every man and his dog knew it. Silva isn’t in that territory yet. Koeman’s team has no pace or skill anywhere in it and leaked goals for fun. This team can play a lot better. If Silva doesn’t get it out of them though he’ll go the same way.

Silva has far better players so he needs to turn it around very quickly.

Koeman had woeful players but it was his own fault because he brought them in.

The only difference is that under Koeman we had started to get spanked (we got beat 4-0 by United, 3-0 away by Atalanta and 5-2 by Arsenal) which hasn't happened to Silva yet - City around the corner coming off an 8-0 win so that could quickly change!

Everything else is shaping up the same as you say, dross football, no clue on what our best team is or formation is, signings that are nowhere near ready to be thrown in etc... Our loss to Sheff Utd was eerily similar to our loss to Burnley under Koeman that season, as we'd had similar paper-over-the-cracks wins against Stoke (Rooney goal) and Bournemouth (Lord Niasse cameo) which are reminiscent of our wins over Watford and wolves this season.

Koeman had the Europa League to contend with as well, the last thing you want when you feel like you need all the prep time you can get ahead of league fixtures.

We haven't played Utd or Arsenal yet.. or Liverpool, City or Spurs.

Missed Sheff Utd game and too depressed to watch it back. The other results have been disappointing as well but I don't think we looked hopeless. A couple of the matches we've been dominating the game just to let their first shot on target in. Yes, we need to improve but I think the negativity and off with his head shouts are premature. Also it does my head in that as a fanbase we seem to be so negative every time we lose.
