Silva must go

You can't call Gbamin one of our best midfielders mate, come on
You can when there is an agenda to be had.

God forbid a team get injuries we must be the only one in the league to have 2 players out...
We don't actually know how good he is, so it's a bit early too say he's crucially important when he could easily turn out to be cack. Saying that he did look okay the little time he has played.
Yeah the guy is still adapting to the league. Hard to say where he stands with such a small sample size. Gomes is a big miss

Ask yourselves when all squad players are healthy; who are the first two midfielders on the team sheet.
1. Gomes
2. Gbamin

Therefore, they are Everton's two best midfielders. Additionally, Gbamin's mobility is desperately needed especially against teams that park the bus and attack on the counter.

Go further... Why is he doing that? oh right, injuries to our two best midfielders and having to shoehorn Gylfi into the squad; who as we established in my original post is 7th - 10th quality. Have patience with Silva; his project will come good so long as the knee-jerkers don't get him sacked.
but he doesn't have to do that, He's been one of the weakest players this season and who does that fall on? Silva.
People have been asking for Bernard on the left and Iwobi through the middle for ages. I don't know how you can be this positive after the start of this season m8 I really don't.
We've not played well once.
We've lost 4 in our last 5 to absolute meh opposition.

Kneejerkers wont get him sacked.

Results will.

Gomes and Delph more likely. Delph was injured, which resulted in Gbamin being rushed in.

Stick to watching gridiron

Gridiron is for those without the attention span or tactical awareness to be excited by the strategic aspects of a football match and/or the long term development of an organization and it's footballers/players.

Based on your lack of anything resembling a reasonable or contributing counter argument; it may be just the ideal sport for you.

How is a lad who has played 1full game our best midfield player?

I wont argue with your knowledge of the sport and Everton; but it is my opinion that the current football quality on display under Silva's tenure is the best we've seen in my albeit limited 10 years as a fan.

I believe we should support and understand as a fan base that a project to secure consistent top 6 finishes will take time. Sacking your manager every 2-3 years will only result in eventual relegation. If Allardyce defensive football and week to week game plans securing us a 8th - 12th every year is all we aspire for then I am supporting the wrong club. Sacking Silva is the wrong answer.

What are you watching lad the football is crap.

Im gonna go with no sadly mate.

Martinez 72 points season and Arteta 08/09 was better.

But I get what you mean.

Its well and good understanding and supporting, but we are 3 league defeats on the bounce, he needs a win.

m8 ALL of us are sick and tired of changing managers but what can we do, Silva is not doing his job, As they say it's a results game, The football he's served up this season has been utter dog muck it's not like we're playing joga bonito and still losing we literally do the same boring garbage every game.

Did you watch Iwobi play through the middle at Arsenal? Very poor. His best position is on the left. I could go for Bernard down the middle in certain match ups where physical strength on the ball is not required in that position. But neither are good options to replace Siggurdson like for like in a 4-2-3-1. The only option is to go 4-3-3 to get Gylfi out, and the players needed to do so have been injured. Have patience and save your judgement of Silva until a time when the full squad is healthy; especially the two best midfielders.

Injuries are part of the game we can't just not critique or feel unhappy with the manager because unfortunately two of our CM's are injured, That is nonsense lad.
He got a free hit last season and it was a mixed bag, Dire Christmas form and saved it by the spell towards the end so it's not like he's made an amazing impression and we've suddenly all turned on him.

Ultimately it's a "what have you done for me lately" league. If he gets sacked it will be for defensive fragility against teams that park the bus and launch counters. Why are we susceptible to that?
1. Didn't bring in a CB in the summer. (Brands/board)
2. Gana left; Gbamin to replace but gets injured. (Brands/board)
3. Faith in Schniederlin as a backup. (Silva)

If we decide to sack him due to his faith in Schniederlin; I completely understand.

People who think another CB and Super Gana would have changed our recent results amuse me deeply.
