But carry on, Macs are more powerful than PCs, but I can buy a PC cheaper that runs my games properly.

I thought it may run, some of my other more intensive games run fine, but not this - but as Mikel has said, it is famous for buggy releases.

Apple is a better company than Microsoft. That is why Apple has been in growth since the late 90's and Microsoft is currently on the decline. There is no competition anymore. You choose a PC that's your choice, you choose to spend how much on Vista? A visual copy of Leopard, and more expensive too.

Lols. That's a bit subjective mate. But even so I couldn't give a toss if it is true, they're both huge multi-billion dollar companies, neither of them is a little guy that I feel the need to support. They're fine without a blinkered fanboy army.

Microsoft has made an awful lot of web designers jobs ten times worse, although probably made them more money because they have to create sites that work the right way with the browsers that are not broken, and then spend mucho hours fixing the problems that Microsoft IE 6 and 7 have created.

Apple created the iPod and the iPhone, and it was very successul, Microsoft tries to compete with the Zune, sorry what was that? Wasn't that an ICE LOLLY from the 70's?

Everything Microsoft did Operating System wise is done on the back of Apple's work.

On the other hand Microsoft cornered the browser market, and did so very cleverly, but all this was done on the back of the success of Windows. That was successful due to naivity of Steve Jobs and the deceitfulness of Bill Gates.

Now however, Apple don't need to compete with Microsoft - they are no longer the competition. Everything Microsoft do on the home computer and business front, is follow Apple.

That's not me being a fanboy, but it's me telling you how it is. There are those who like me know, and there are people like you who like you say don't give a toss.

But viruses were spread worldwide due to naive Windows users. People who don't give a toss, and are ignorant to what they are using. Not saying this is you, but it is the Microsoft Windows/PC user.

I have a very very fast Mac, top of the range when I bought it 9 month's ago, but Sim City 4 is running like a dog.

I'm thinking because the game was released 2004, it's as good as it's going to get.

PC's are not cheaper because they are better.

Macs ARE PC's. They use the same x86 based hardware. They just charge you 50% more than a PC costs.

I am in support of the OS that rocks. I have had none of the problems that everyone else had with Vista. Mind you I guess I am mindful of what I do to my computer.

For the record...the best OS for anything, ever is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP5 Stable and secure as a very large rock with a flat bottom sitting of flat ground.

Right done some investigating, and the game was ported from PC to Mac but to older mac's running on PowerPC chips, so when it is played on Mac's running an Intel chip, then there are emulation issues.

So it's because of the game not my system.

Keep banging the drum for the machine that 'doesn't need championing' mate. And carry on doing exactly what makes me despise the typical Apple user, acting like a superior smug **** because you use a different type of computer to everyone else.

At the end of the day for the average user they're doing exactly the same thing in pretty much the same amount of time. But you can get a PC cheaper, and it'll run your games better.
