Simpsons appreciation thread

Watching an episode of the simpsons from the golden era its debatable but for me that constitutes seasons 3-10 which I feel is some of most hilarious and creative comedy in the history of television. Anyway what are some of your favorite episodes and jokes? For me Springfield Files and the stonecutters episodes are two of mine.

Neither of those. It's just so, so old now and things need to come to an end. Haven't watched it in years but even then the quality was starting to drop.

lol sorry I completely misinterpreted your post just woke up. yeah the show is a zombie now that needs to die. Unfortunately it's still lingering about with no end in sight and you're absolutely correct about the decline in quality its unwatchable for me.

There isn't a thing that happens in our house without either me or one of my boys quoting a Simpsons episode! Genius for about 7 or 8 years. However they should have killed it off a long time ago.
